Our art program encourages our clients at Evolve Behavioral Health to safely explore new and healthy ways to cope with their feelings and to apply other tools they are learning in treatment through a variety of medium. Clients are led in activities tailored to address coping with anxiety, anger, grief, or substance use triggers so they are then motivated to use these tools for on-going recovery. The group is led by Carrie Parrott whose personal love for art making comes from poetry, painting, and an exploration of muti-media compositions. She enjoys empowering each client to use their creativity and imagination to build a new way of life.

“Seeing each woman find a moment of peace, a moment of realizing they helped create, a moment of turning their fear or agitation around, a moment of hope – that’s inspiring to us all.”
