Group Therapy
We encourage you to speak out about your problems and interact with people faced with addiction. Group therapy and addiction treatment are natural allies. One reason is that people who abuse substances often are more likely to remain abstinent and committed to recovery when treatment is provided in groups, because of rewarding and therapeutic forces such as affiliation, confrontation, support, gratification, and identification. This capacity of group therapy to bond patients to treatment is an important asset because the greater the amount, quality, and duration of treatment, the better your outcomes become!
Group topics span psychosocial topics such as understanding the addictive mind, addressing addict behaviors, 12-Step and sponsorship, parenting, anger management and other topics. Group therapy allows each client to discuss anger and emotional coping, share honesty letters, hear the experiences of other addicts and explore re-entry options to their family and sober support systems.
90 day program
Evolve Women’s Recovery offers a true 90 program. Our continuum of care addresses the spectrum of recovery from Stabilization in our Partial Hospitalization and Medically Assisted Treatment programs, to burgeoning independence through the Intensive Outpatient and Housing programs. At Evolve we help develop genuine independence through job placement, parenting education, anger management, and the development of life skills that will serve you for years to come. Our model spans a longer period than most traditional recovery programs, but also offers a broader spectrum of resources to support your individual journey. While specific lengths of stay will vary based on individualized assessment of each client, we generally offer 30 days of intensive support and stabilization through the Partial Hospitalization Program offering intensive full day programming in a structured environment which includes meals and housing
Who We Help
At Evolve Women’s Recovery, we specialize in the unique challenges faced by women in recovery. We welcome all adult females battling addiction, including those who are pregnant. More and more research shows that women who suffer from substance use disorder, trauma, and/or co-occurring disorders have unique treatment needs. This is partly because addiction and trauma are so intertwined.
We address trauma alongside addiction treatment to help women overcome any underlying issues fueling self-destructive behavior. Our trauma-informed addiction treatment programs utilize an integrated approach – based on theory, research, and clinical experience. We specialize in pregnancy and addiction, parenting, family reunification, and addressing the unique challenges that women in recovery face.
Our substance abuse treatment program for women is centered on providing freedom from the destructive thoughts, actions, and self-sabotage that stem from trauma and addiction. We pride ourselves on ensuring a safe and supportive environment that helps women as they learn to address the past and enhance the quality of their day-to-day living.
